Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Caetano Guedes made the kick off which started today's match. Caetano Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caetano Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Tolek Bojanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Angatuba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro Amorim came free, but Antônio Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Angatuba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Zé Pedro Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Angatuba EC's Caetano Guedes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Caetano Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Délio Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angatuba EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Délio Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antônio Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho de Godoi in the 46th minute of play. When Therezopolis's Vitinho de Godoi in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Angatuba EC's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Pedro Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. Angatuba EC's Délio Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Therezopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Guedes came free, but Tolek Bojanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Angatuba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Délio Vidal struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Tolek Bojanowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angatuba EC. After a defensive mix-up in Angatuba EC's zone, Zé Pedro Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antônio Mazza came out of the goal and Zé Pedro Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Therezopolis's Zé Pedro Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nelsinho Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Pedro Amorim was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Délio Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tolek Bojanowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Délio Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Bojanowski having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Angatuba EC's Caetano Guedes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tolek Bojanowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Amorim in the 95th minute of play forced Angatuba EC's goalkeeper Antônio Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Vitinho de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Angatuba EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Therezopolis had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
