Acácio Lucas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Manuel Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peladeiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Acácio Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Manuel Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Acácio Lucas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Matos in the 45th minute of play forced Peladeiros's goalkeeper Cássio Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ezequiel Matos to strike the kick off in the second half. Manuel Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Acácio Lucas made a huge save. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peladeiros's goalkeeper Cássio Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Acácio Lucas was a little too slow when Manuel Moura got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-8. Manuel Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Acácio Lucas made a huge save. When the match was over Peladeiros could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Seleção Sucesso throughout the match.
