Enrique Zonta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medick Office. If Amílton Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, Medick Office was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Vaz to maneuver through the defense. When Clemente Batista fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carpina AD's protests and gave Clemente Batista a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Clemente Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Délio Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Borges in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that Isaltino de Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Délio Rosa was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Medick Office's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Isaltino de Amorim scored to the left of an out of position Délio Rosa, making the score, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Medick Office had won after a very even match.
