After a rather tough play, Carpina AD's Adriano Cabral got a free kick in the 8th minute. Róbson Siqueira charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Róbson Siqueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Carpina AD got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Siqueira. After 16 played minutes, Coppini FC's Cássio Cavalcante shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enrique Zonta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Coppini FC reached it. The supporters of Carpina AD booed when Coppini FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Felipe Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coppini FC's Norberto Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Borges in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristóvão Negri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Enrique Zonta firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Carpina AD's Enrique Zonta got control of the ball when Cristóvão Negri tried to sneak it across the goal line.
