In the 7th minute of the match, Amílton Sampaio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Norberto Fonseca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Norberto Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coppini FC's goalkeeper Norberto Fonseca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Telmo Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Cristóvão Negri notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Medick Office's Délio Rosa. Délio Rosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Telmo Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Rosa having to interfere. If Telmo Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Coppini FC's Norberto Fonseca got control of the ball when Amílton Sampaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Amílton Sampaio came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Medick Office fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílton Sampaio couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Amílton Sampaio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nelsinho Saldanha hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenílson Coutinho in the 46th minute of play forced Medick Office's goalkeeper Délio Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Telmo Mendes to make the kick off. In the 58th minute Alan de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Délio Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caco Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Norberto Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Medick Office's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Mendes came free, but Délio Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Délio Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Mendes in the 79th minute of the match. Medick Office's Délio Rosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Medick Office from getting a goal against them. Medick Office made a substitution. Flávio Lucas replaced Fiori Vaz. Carlos Augusto Dracena hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Norberto Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Cabral in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Coppini FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
