After a defensive mix-up in Uruacu's zone, Dedé Monteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre de Queiroz came out of the goal and Dedé Monteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uruacu's Alexandre de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Monteiro in the 40th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Uruacu got a freekick which was hit by Erik Mendonça. In the 44th minute, Enrique Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Erik Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uruacu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Exaltacao SS the free kick. Erik Mendonça hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Célio Ceresso hit a great ball. Jacinto de Alcântara was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alexandre de Queiroz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 88 minutes into the game, Uruacu's Christian Messias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Fábio Furtado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Uruacu's zone, Dedé Monteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre de Queiroz came out of the goal and Dedé Monteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandre de Queiroz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Exaltacao SS's Dedé Monteiro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Uruacu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
