Tostão Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tostão Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Doriva Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tostão Santana came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Osbravos EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tostão Santana couldn't finish the play. Tostão Santana in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Doriva Godoi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Samuel Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei de Medeiros in the 23rd minute of play. Manoel Figueiredo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Genílson Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauan Lago scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Quintal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Osbravos EC's zone, Naldo Recife stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Quintal came out of the goal and Naldo Recife tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Alexsandro Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Osbravos EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexsandro Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Pichuri's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cícero Santana fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Dinei de Medeiros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Samuel Quintal. That made the score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. When Tostão Santana came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Osbravos EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tostão Santana couldn't finish the play. Alexsandro Trevisan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Doriva Godoi. Pichuri's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Serginho Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Alexsandro Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Osbravos EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexsandro Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 minutes of play, Osbravos EC's Tostão Santana made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doriva Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there!
