Douglas de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Sapopema's Valério Pombal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Sapopema's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Guimarães came free, but Douglas de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pedrão Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Paulo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sapopema's zone, Pedrão Valladares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas de Andrade came out of the goal and Pedrão Valladares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrão Valladares got free with Douglas de Andrade in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valdomiro Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Pombal in the 78th minute of play. Valdomiro Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Pombal in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute of the match, Romário Félix tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Douglas de Andrade saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Paulo Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Moura having to interfere.
