Juan Queiroz came out of the goal and Glauco Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Teixeira in the 7th minute of play forced Gotham City's goalkeeper Faustão Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gotham City's Glauco Paranaense got a free kick in the 10th minute. Faustão Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Teixeira in the 13th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Eliu Doles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gil do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustão Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Macedo in the 33rd minute of the match. Jorge Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Queiroz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, César Macedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustão Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Frank Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Juan Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Fellipe Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASPEN and the Gotham City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ASPEN's Fellipe Gomes got a free kick in the 68th minute. Zé Roberto Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Roberto Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ASPEN! Paulo José Fernandez shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Juan Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Eliu Doles charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliu Doles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ASPEN getting a freekick after 80 minutes play.
