Frank Rocha let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 6th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. 11 minutes into the match, Gotham City's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Trevisan came free, but Faustão Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Rocha in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Douglas de Andrade, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wesley Mattos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute of the match Téo Paraibano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faustão Carneiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jorge Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Douglas de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Sapopema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro das Neves to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 30 minutes, Jorge Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gotham City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Rocha struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Douglas de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gotham City. If Valério Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gotham City's Paulo José Fernandez got a free kick in the 47th minute. If Valério Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Rocha was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sapopema's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo José Fernandez was slow to take the kick. During this time Gotham City's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Gotham City's Haroldo Hermes to fire away a dangerous shot which Douglas de Andrade despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jorge Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Glauco Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas de Andrade having to interfere. If Jorge Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Douglas de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Gotham City's Faustão Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Pombal in the 75th minute of play. If Frank Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gotham City's Faustão Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Gotham City from getting a goal against them. When Frank Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Gotham City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Rocha couldn't finish the play. If Frank Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Jorge Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Frank Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gotham City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Frank Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Douglas de Andrade having to make a save. Faustão Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Pombal in the 97th minute of the match. Gotham City's Faustão Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Pombal in the 100th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gotham City had played much better football throughout.
