Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Joaquim Queiroz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Júlio Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dito Queiroz in the 5th minute of play. Júlio Berger made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Bernardinho Tasso sent off a good shot on target. Cícero Breckenfeld's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Júlio Berger firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 14 played minutes Legião AlSufid got a freekick which was hit by Remo dos Santos. After a rather tough play, Queda's Percival Terra got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Queda's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Tinoco came free, but Benjamim Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Rômulo Tinoco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Queda's Benjamim Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Joaquim Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Queda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legião AlSufid the free kick. After 26 played minutes Queda got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Queiroz. When Legião AlSufid's Rômulo Tinoco in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Queda's goalie prevented a goal. Joaquim Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Legião AlSufid booed when Queda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafinha Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamim Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardinho Tasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Júlio Berger made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Cícero Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Queiroz in the 38th minute of play forced Legião AlSufid's goalkeeper Júlio Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes of play Queda's Joaquim Queiroz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Joaquim Queiroz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Benjamim Trancoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rômulo Tinoco's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Rômulo Tinoco made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Percival Terra notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Legião AlSufid's Júlio Berger. Júlio Berger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rômulo Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 60 minutes, Dito Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Queda and the Legião AlSufid players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Queda got a freekick which was hit by Dito Queiroz. When Percival de Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legião AlSufid's protests and gave Percival de Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Legião AlSufid getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Percival de Sousa hit a great ball. Benjamim Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67th play minutes Rômulo Tinoco shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Benjamim Trancoso and just under the crossbar into goal. After 77 minutes, Remo dos Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legião AlSufid and the Queda players grew even worse after the yellow card. Júlio Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Terra in the 78th minute of play. Benjamim Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Legião AlSufid's Alberto Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjamim Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Queda's zone, Rômulo Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamim Trancoso came out of the goal and Rômulo Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamim Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Legião AlSufid players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
