When Ademar Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Jaboty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademar Camargo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Jaboty getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ademar Camargo hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes, Hot Rod Sports's Eduardo Amaral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Geovani Velasco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hot Rod Sports reached it. Geovani Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto de Queiroz in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Jaboty's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto de Queiroz came free, but Geovani Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Augusto de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmir França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto de Queiroz succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Augusto de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Geovani Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walmir França to make the kick off. Jaboty's Geovani Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Jaboty from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute, Victor Schmidt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovani Velasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 62nd minute Victor Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Ademar Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Victor Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hot Rod Sports's Victor Schmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaboty's Walmir França got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Cordeiro struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. David Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaboty. 74 minutes into the match, Jaboty's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Schmidt came free, but Geovani Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ademar Camargo during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Augusto de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovani Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Schmidt in the 93rd minute of the match. Geovani Velasco made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Augusto de Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Hot Rod Sports booed when Jaboty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hot Rod Sports's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eduardo Amaral in the 98th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hot Rod Sports had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
