In the 47th minute, Luiz Eduardo Macedo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 48 played minutes Camba rufa city got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Mandrak. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 57th play minutes Durval Miranda shot 3-1, a short shot which went by João Augusto Secco and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 61st match minute, Canada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Eduardo Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Durval Miranda struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. João Augusto Secco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camba rufa city. João Augusto Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Pena in the 66th minute of play. In the 80th minute Osvaldinho Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nico Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Pedro Luís Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes Tibúrcio Garcia shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Canada's João Augusto Secco to catch but Tibúrcio Garcia was lucky. It became 5-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. João Augusto Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Miranda in the 88th minute of play. Nico Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Augusto Secco having to interfere. Osvaldinho Macedo's late challenge caught a Canada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldinho Macedo helped the player get up and apologised. Osvaldinho Macedo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. João Augusto Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egídio Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute, Osvaldinho Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
