Mandalorianos's João Vítor Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Veiga in the 9th minute of play. Cléber Mello made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Paulão Galvão sent off a good shot on target. If Paulão Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan de Queirós struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Cléber Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mandalorianos. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Juan de Queirós put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cléber Mello. Juan de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Vítor Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Guerra in the 35th minute of play forced Mandalorianos's goalkeeper João Vítor Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Paulão Galvão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cléber Mello was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 41 minutes, Juan de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mandalorianos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan de Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jarbas Souto hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After having played for 53 minutes, Paulão Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mandalorianos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulão Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Catiara's Cléber Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulão Galvão in the 56th minute of play. João Vítor Dionísio made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Cristóvão Guerra sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Paulão Galvão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cléber Mello. Catiara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulão Galvão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Juan de Queirós scored 4-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cléber Mello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 76 played minutes, Mandalorianos's Acácio Andrade shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cléber Mello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mandalorianos reached it. Jarbas Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Juan de Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Paulão Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mandalorianos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catiara the free kick. The audience was convinced that Fabiano Veiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Vítor Dionísio was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Cléber Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan de Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mandalorianos's Paulão Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Mandalorianos were the better team. Mandalorianos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
