With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Linhares in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Abraão saved Corinthians-Ba from getting behind. Rômulo Vargas hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Noel Eger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corinthians-Ba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ratz FC the free kick. In the 13th minute, Noel Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antônio Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nestor Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco de Amorim in the 18th minute of the match. Juan Simões hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Marco de Amorim took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Nestor Abraão to make any attempt to save it. In the 36th minute, Marco de Amorim fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Corinthians-Ba's Nestor Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Corinthians-Ba from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Corinthians-Ba's Nestor Abraão got control of the ball when Antônio Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Afonsinho Carvalho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Sergipano skillfully saved the ball. Juan Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antônio Linhares to make the kick off. A collision led to Corinthians-Ba getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ricardinho Coelho hit a great ball. Antônio Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio Linhares in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Abraão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antônio Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Abraão having to interfere. Antônio Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nestor Abraão came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Ratz FC's Juan Simões. But to his dismay, Juan Simões quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Nestor Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Daniel Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antônio Linhares scored 4-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Abraão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Linhares in the 87th minute of play forced Corinthians-Ba's goalkeeper Nestor Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Giuseppe Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Corinthians-Ba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giuseppe Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Nestor Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Linhares's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Daniel Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Esteves in the 94th minute of play.
