Januaria's Vágner da Silva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luan Sousa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 11th minute, 300 ESPARTA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Orlando do Nascimento fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Amauri Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. William Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristóvão Pernambucano during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, 300 ESPARTA's Cristóvão Pernambucano got a free kick in the 24th minute. Roberto Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Luan Sousa made a huge save. After 32 played minutes 300 ESPARTA got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Pernambucano. Luan Sousa made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Dé de Almeida sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Januaria booed when 300 ESPARTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dé de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Sousa having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Dé de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 55th match minute, 300 ESPARTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri Cabral to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Dé de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dé de Almeida took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luan Sousa. Luan Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Luan Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olavo Pena went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, 300 ESPARTA's William Peixoto threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristóvão Pernambucano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dé de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Luan Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Dé de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Januaria's supporters rose to their feet, but Dé de Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luan Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Olavo Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luan Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Januaria fully deserved thier win.
