The audience was convinced that Caio Brodel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raí Lima was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soinho SS's goalkeeper Raí Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Soinho SS's zone, Zé Augusto Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raí Lima came out of the goal and Zé Augusto Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caio Brodel scored 0-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raí Lima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Gerber in the 64th minute of play. Raí Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Augusto Vargas in the 66th minute. Aceme's supporters rose to their feet, but Caio Brodel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raí Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Augusto Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Lima having to interfere. Manuel Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Zé Augusto Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Augusto Vargas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Raí Lima when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Soinho SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aceme were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
