Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antônio Linhares kicked off to start the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Antônio Linhares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anajas's Tony Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tony Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Wiliam de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Tony Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Anajas got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Moreira. Tony Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Linhares's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Antônio Linhares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Penha having to make a save. Antônio Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Penha having to interfere. Antônio Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Pedro Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Daniel Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Simões the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Anajas booed when Ratz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Antônio Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio Linhares in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Penha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 46 minutes, Juan Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ratz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Antônio Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ratz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Ratz FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Pedro Paulista to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Ratz FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Paulista came free, but Daniel Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Anajas's Tony Penha got control of the ball when Antônio Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Juan Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Ratz FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Carlos Moreira came free, but Daniel Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Pedro Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ratz FC's Antônio Linhares in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Anajas's goalie prevented a goal. In the 77th minute, Antônio Linhares made a precise shot to the right of Tony Penha. Anajas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ratz FC's Juan Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Juan Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antônio Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Penha having to interfere. Daniel Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Paulista in the 96th minute of the match. Ratz FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
