After 6 minutes, Armando Vasconcelos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corinthians-Ba and the Mandalorianos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Corinthians-Ba:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mandalorianos:s goal. The referee gave Mandalorianos a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juan de Queirós, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Corinthians-Ba's Nestor Abraão. 1-0. Mandalorianos's João Vítor Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Fonseca in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Corinthians-Ba getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Álvaro Esteves hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Juan de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Vítor Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Corinthians-Ba's Rômulo Vargas got a free kick in the 25th minute. Álvaro Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Vítor Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corinthians-Ba's Nestor Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan de Queirós in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Juan de Queirós made the kick off in the second half. After 59 minutes, Osvaldo de Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corinthians-Ba and the Mandalorianos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mandalorianos made a substitution. Tarcisio Neto replaced Gildo Pitta. Nestor Abraão came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mandalorianos's Juan de Queirós. But to his dismay, Juan de Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 65th minute, Paulão Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Paulão Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mandalorianos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulão Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan de Queirós struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Nestor Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mandalorianos. Giuseppe Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but João Vítor Dionísio made a huge save. The supporters of Mandalorianos booed when Corinthians-Ba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giuseppe Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. João Vítor Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Galvão in the 86th minute of play forced Corinthians-Ba's goalkeeper Nestor Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luisinho Campidelis fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mandalorianos's protests and gave Luisinho Campidelis a yellow card for diving instead. Luisinho Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. João Vítor Dionísio made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Giuseppe Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mandalorianos had played much better football throughout.
