Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Oséias Camargo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio MZF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Isafla the free kick. Oséias Camargo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Geovânio Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Soares having to interfere. Grêmio MZF's Nicolas Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Cerezo in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Belmiro Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio MZF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belmiro Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geovânio Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Belmiro Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio MZF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belmiro Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Grêmio MZF booed when Isafla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Charles Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vítor Teles hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Nicolas Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovânio Vale's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. If Belmiro Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kauan Maia hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. João Fonseca was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Charles Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charles Cerezo in the 61st minute. Benedito Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Teodoro Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedito Vasconcelos in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Marinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Figueiredo in the 71st minute of play forced Isafla's goalkeeper Teodoro Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Nicolas Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charles Cerezo in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Isafla's Geovânio Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Soares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicolas Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovânio Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Geovânio Vale came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Isafla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovânio Vale couldn't finish the play. Geovânio Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Soares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio MZF's goalkeeper Nicolas Soares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Grêmio MZF's goal looked a bit too open when Geovânio Vale came free, but Nicolas Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isafla were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
