After 19 played minutes Itabayanna got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Secco. 21 minutes into the match, FOGO NO PARQUINHO SS's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Nunes came free, but Alessandro Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico Barros got his second yellow card in the match during the 22nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Washington Paes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rdth minute of the game Marco Travassos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FOGO NO PARQUINHO SS's Alessandro Cordeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 66 played minutes, FOGO NO PARQUINHO SS's Alex Alcântara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manuel Lago came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FOGO NO PARQUINHO SS reached it. Silvério Mandrak hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Alessandro Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Cordeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Itabayanna's Armandinho Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vitinho Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alessandro Cordeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitinho Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute, Aírton Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Serafim Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Vitinho Nunes sped through FOGO NO PARQUINHO SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alessandro Cordeiro.
