Pedro Passos started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Pedro Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Pedro Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raposa's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Passos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elano Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gualter Campidelis hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Soledale SEC's Denílson Lopez got a free kick in the 14th minute. Nildo Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Elano Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Raposa's Gil Vale got control of the ball when Denílson Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raposa's Gil Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvaldo Vale in the 21st minute of play. Edvaldo Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gil Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvaldo Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Denílson Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Leme in the 35th minute of play forced Raposa's goalkeeper Gil Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Denílson Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelinho Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denílson Lopez to strike the kick off in the second half. Gil Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Lopez in the 54th minute of the match. André Luís Peixoto hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Soledale SEC's zone, Pedrinho Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elano Faria came out of the goal and Pedrinho Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Elano Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denílson Lopez took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Vale. Gil Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Soledale SEC's Fábio Antunes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rogério Guedes in the 69 minute of the game. Denílson Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gil Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Marcelinho Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edvaldo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Denílson Lopez made a precise shot to the right of Gil Vale. Raposa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Válter Vander charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Válter Vander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Válter Vander hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Soledale SEC fully deserved thier win.
