In the 13thth minute of the game Zé Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itabayanna's Manuel Lago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 17 played minutes Itabayanna got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Neves. Gildo Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Manuel Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Lago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maksymilian Mierzejewski's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Madureira in the 24th minute of play forced Itabayanna's goalkeeper Manuel Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maksymilian Mierzejewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Lago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Real Madroga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Nunes came free, but Cássio Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Itabayanna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. In the 38thth minute of the game Maksymilian Mierzejewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itabayanna's Manuel Lago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Manuel Lago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madroga FC. After some careless play in the Real Madroga FC defense, Andrézinho Jacinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Toledo. The Real Madroga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Toledo should have stopped the shot. After 74 played minutes Itabayanna got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Secco. Andrézinho Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cássio Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
