CONFIANÇA's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Real Madroga FC's Maksymilian Mierzejewski managed to work through A. D. CONFIANÇA's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Maksymilian Mierzejewski dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 36th match minute, A. D. CONFIANÇA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 41stth minute of the game Maksymilian Mierzejewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A. D. CONFIANÇA's Fabiano Antunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maksymilian Mierzejewski in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabiano Antunes saved A. D. CONFIANÇA from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Tiago Gabriel Nogueira's late challenge caught a Real Madroga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
