Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fellipe Britto to make the kick off. Marcinho Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa de Lima in the 58th minute of the match. Cláudio Vaz hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fábio Donatello in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcinho Freire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 played minutes Cristais Paulista F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Goiano. Marlenopolis's Luís Fábio Donatello got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rafa de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Luís Fábio Donatello made a precise shot to the right of Marcinho Freire. Cristais Paulista F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
