S.E Cachoeira Alegre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Kléber Neto scored to the left of an out of position Vivaldo Queiroz, making the score, 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Kléber Neto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléber Neto in the 18th minute of play forced S.E Cachoeira Alegre's goalkeeper Vivaldo Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Luís Paulo Cavalcante sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Josué Amorim skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Elói do Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josué Amorim was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Kléber Neto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vivaldo Queiroz. The goal made the score 4-0. The S.E Cachoeira Alegre fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when S.E Cachoeira Alegre's Elói do Valle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 42 minutes into the match, S.E Cachoeira Alegre's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Xavier came free, but Vivaldo Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kléber Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vivaldo Queiroz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Josué Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Zanette in the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Fausto Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elói do Valle scored 4-2 in the 50th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josué Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kléber Neto made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, S.E Cachoeira Alegre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Tavares to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Arlindo Fontes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vivaldo Queiroz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Revenge's zone, Elói do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Amorim came out of the goal and Elói do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Aírton Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vivaldo Queiroz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Josué Amorim made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Elói do Valle sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Zézinho Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E Cachoeira Alegre's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho Munhoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, S.E Cachoeira Alegre's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Mineiro came free, but Vivaldo Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 minutes, Haroldo Matorin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.E Cachoeira Alegre and the Revenge players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, S.E Cachoeira Alegre's Haroldo Matorin got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute of the match Pedro Luiz Nogueira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vivaldo Queiroz skillfully saved the ball. Zézinho Munhoz struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Josué Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E Cachoeira Alegre. Josué Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói do Valle in the 82nd minute of play. Josué Amorim acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Falcão Tavares. Josué Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elói do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Amorim having to interfere. Zézinho Munhoz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. S.E Cachoeira Alegre's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Elói do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 100th minute of the match Luís Paulo Cavalcante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Josué Amorim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Revenge players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
