Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Paulista FC's Paulão Cruz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sidnei Mineiro charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sidnei Mineiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Sidnei Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the game, Paulista FC's Fernando da Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josué Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 9th minute Paulão Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulão Cruz scored 2-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josué Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 12 played minutes Paulão Cruz rounded Revenge's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. In the 15th minute, Paulão Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 24 played minutes Paulão Cruz rounded Revenge's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. Fernando da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes Paulista FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando da Costa. Jerônimo dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Josué Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulão Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fernando da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulão Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Josué Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes of play, Revenge's Aírton Cabral made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Lucas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Paulista FC booed when Revenge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidnei Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josué Amorim came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Paulista FC's Paulão Cruz. But to his dismay, Paulão Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Josué Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kléber Neto struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Narciso Lucas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Revenge. Kléber Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Lucas having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Jerônimo dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Josué Amorim. Revenge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Paulão Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Aírton Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Lucas came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Revenge's Aírton Cabral. But to his dismay, Aírton Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. In the 86th minute, Aírton Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Lucas was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-3. Paulão Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Josué Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
