The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sidnei Mineiro during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Revenge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. Kléber Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Murilo da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pintinha's zone, Aírton Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murilo da Mata came out of the goal and Aírton Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josué Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrinho Coelho's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Kléber Neto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Elói Fantini's late challenge caught a Revenge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elói Fantini helped the player get up and apologised. Aírton Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo da Mata having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Coelho in the 75th minute of play forced Revenge's goalkeeper Josué Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Pedrinho Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Revenge getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Sidnei Mineiro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Coelho in the 80th minute of play forced Revenge's goalkeeper Josué Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kléber Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Revenge left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pintinha.
