Doni Berger took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Paulo das Neves. Zé Paulo das Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Manoel Tande successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zé Paulo das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio de Mendonça in the 36th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Us Caras FC got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Guerra. Ramón de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Máquina Mortífera FC's Noel Almeida got a free kick in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doni Berger made a kick off. Ramón de Souza's late challenge caught a Máquina Mortífera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramón de Souza helped the player get up and apologised. Ramón de Souza hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Us Caras FC's Zé Paulo das Neves got control of the ball when Diguinho Fantini tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Doni Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flávio de Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Paulo das Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Doni Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo das Neves having to interfere.
