Vivaldo Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Cabral in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, z-dois fc's Sebastião Hermes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vivaldo Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Elói do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to S.E Cachoeira Alegre getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Falcão Tavares hit a great ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Sebastião Hermes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E Cachoeira Alegre's Vivaldo Queiroz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, z-dois fc's Agnaldo Bittencourt got control of the ball when Elói do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, Richard Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elói do Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Sebastião Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdemar Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Queiroz having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastião Hermes got free with Vivaldo Queiroz in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Sandro Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luiz Eduardo Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Cabral in the 68th minute of play forced S.E Cachoeira Alegre's goalkeeper Vivaldo Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of z-dois fc booed when S.E Cachoeira Alegre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Eduardo Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Valdemar Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched z-dois fc eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
