Spectators: 7304 (Terracing: 5479, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) With an all-out effort, Sallesopolis FC's Nilton Bertassi threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Moisés Mesquita, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nilton Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Yuri Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mário Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guilherme Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton de Senna in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Mário Ortiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilherme Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Lúcio Mattos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Moisés Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Norberto Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Sallesopolis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Ortiz came free, but Guilherme Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sallesopolis FC's zone, Nilton de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guilherme Toledo came out of the goal and Nilton de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Arapapa AD's Cléberson Meira got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moisés Mesquita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Arapapa AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho de Lima to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Moisés Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 played minutes Mário Ortiz rounded Sallesopolis FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Norberto Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Toledo having to interfere. With a little luck, Sallesopolis FC's Guilherme Toledo got control of the ball when Nilton de Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guilherme Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Mattos in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilton Bertassi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute, Arapapa AD's Mário Ortiz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guilherme Toledo. Guilherme Toledo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Mário Ortiz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guilherme Toledo came out and tried to block the shot, but Mário Ortiz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 81st minute. Guilherme Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Guedes in the 88th minute of play. When Jonathan Reis fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sallesopolis FC's protests and gave Jonathan Reis a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Sallesopolis FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Reis. When Nilton de Senna came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Arapapa AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilton de Senna couldn't finish the play. Nilton Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Mattos in the 93rd minute of play. Arapapa AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
