Pintinha's Murilo da Mata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Pintinha from getting a goal against them. Pedrinho Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Us Caras FC's Bernardo Sampaio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Pedrinho Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Paulo das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ronaldo Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo da Mata having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramón de Souza was the one to do the kick off. When Ramón de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Us Caras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón de Souza couldn't finish the play. Pintinha's Murilo da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Siqueira in the 97th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ramón de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murilo da Mata was relentless in the 100th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Us Caras FC had won after a very even match.
