In the 10th minute Paulo Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paulo Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio de Moraes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Erasmo Rodrigues was a little too slow when Moisés Mesquita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Jaime Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pinho in the 27th minute of the match. Guilherme Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lúcio Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Guilherme Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edinho Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hudson Trancoso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guilherme Toledo. Sallesopolis FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pinho was the one to do the kick off. Jardel Nunes made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Moisés Mesquita immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Sallesopolis FC booed when Campeche FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hudson Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Campeche FC's Paulo Paiva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guilherme Toledo. Guilherme Toledo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. 81 minutes into the match, Campeche FC's Paulo Paiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guilherme Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Toledo having to interfere. Jaime Pinho struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Guilherme Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campeche FC. Paulo Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Campeche FC played a much better game than Sallesopolis FC and deserved their victory. The Sallesopolis FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
