Juvenal Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Neiva in the 47th minute of the match.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo Fernandes in the 77th minute of play forced JL Sport Clube's goalkeeper Sidnei Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Magno Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guiratinga's supporters rose to their feet, but Magno Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidnei Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute Pedro Luiz Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Vitório Breckenfeld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sidnei Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
