After 20 played minutes Caraquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Maranhense. After 23 minutes of play, Caraquinha FC's Mateus Mota made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilvan Gomes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulão Cordeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doni de Almeida went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Doni de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the SafarijoeSports fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doni de Almeida couldn't finish the play. Moisés Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Cordeiro having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Mateus Mota left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caraquinha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 42nd minute, Gustavo Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 65th minute, Jorge Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 minutes, Jorge Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caraquinha FC and the SafarijoeSports players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SafarijoeSports booed when Caraquinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doni de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Although SafarijoeSports had been in control for most of the match, Caraquinha FC still came away with the win.
