After 19 played minutes, Astroworld's Frédson Diniz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper André Rezende came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Astroworld reached it. In the 21st minute, Aírton Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Rezende was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Astroworld's goalkeeper Marcinho Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramalho's André Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Almeida in the 27th minute of play. André Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Mattos during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Astroworld's Aírton Silveira was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 90thth minute of the game Aírton Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ramalho's André Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Astroworld walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
