The referee ignored Itaipulândia Futebol Club's protests and gave Carlos Fernando Arce a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Itaipulândia Futebol Club's Carlos Fernando Arce got a free kick in the 10th minute. Agnaldo Mandrak made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Codruț Oblemenco sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Codruț Oblemenco in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agnaldo Mandrak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Codruț Oblemenco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 15th playminute. 20 minutes into the match, Feijo's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Arce came free, but Nunez Chuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Itaipulândia Futebol Club's Agnaldo Mandrak got control of the ball when Codruț Oblemenco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Itaipulândia Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Roşu came free, but Agnaldo Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes, Codruț Oblemenco made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Itaipulândia Futebol Club's Agnaldo Mandrak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nunez Chuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinei Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Alberto Barbosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Agnaldo Mandrak came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Barbosa slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute of the match, Codruț Oblemenco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Agnaldo Mandrak was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Adam Roşu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Fernando Arce in the 47th minute of play forced Feijo's goalkeeper Nunez Chuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Samuca Nascimento got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nunez Chuse quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dinei Correia made a kick off. Adam Roşu scored 4-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agnaldo Mandrak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute, Tomás Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gugu Antunes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Agnaldo Mandrak. Itaipulândia Futebol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Feijo's Adam Roşu in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Agnaldo Mandrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agnaldo Mandrak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0.
