Spectators: 7254 (Terracing: 5442, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Délio Veloso started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Délio Veloso in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaká Nogueira saved Máfia do Ovo FC from getting behind. Régis Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Nogueira having to interfere. In the 17th minute Raúl Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Paty FC's Rogério Peres got control of the ball when Edu Cavalcante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogério Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Araújo in the 20th minute of the match. When Juninho Borges fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paty FC's protests and gave Juninho Borges a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Paty FC's Juninho Borges got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 25 played minutes Paty FC got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Borges. After 29 played minutes Máfia do Ovo FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeca de Castro. Kaká Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Délio Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Kaká Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio Veloso in the 33rd minute of play. In the 39th minute, Délio Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogério Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso da Costa in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute Cipriano Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paty FC's Rogério Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Ortiz in the 47th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Edu Cavalcante dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rogério Peres, 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raúl Araújo to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Délio Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paty FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Délio Veloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Máfia do Ovo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Délio Veloso scored to the left of an out of position Kaká Nogueira, making the score, 1-1. In the 65th minute Afonso da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Raúl Araújo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rogério Peres. Paty FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raúl Araújo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Raúl Araújo scored 3-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Peres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paty FC's Délio Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, Máfia do Ovo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Régis Nóbrega cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Kaká Nogueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Délio Veloso in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaká Nogueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogério Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Máfia do Ovo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Paty FC for a fine match.
