Tomás Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Marcelinho do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tijucano's Gilberto Silveira got a free kick in the 19th minute. Márcio Tinoco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelinho do Nascimento. Tijucano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Tijucano's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Matos came free, but Marcelinho do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarcisio Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarcisio Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho do Nascimento having to interfere. After the first half White Tigers FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Tomás Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarcisio Salles struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Marcelinho do Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for White Tigers FC. White Tigers FC's Frederico Mazza pulled a muscle in his leg after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 58 played minutes Tijucano got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Linares. In the 59th minute of the match Márcio Tinoco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelinho do Nascimento skillfully saved the ball. Tarcisio Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marcelinho do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
