Joga 10's Nilton Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo Ortiz in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, João Adolfo Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilton Vides. Joga 10's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Adolfo Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Duarte Massa's late challenge caught a Recuperado SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte Massa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Duarte Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dudu Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the game, Wesley Cabral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joga 10's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Recuperado SS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Joga 10's Wesley Cabral got a free kick in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Joga 10's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Botelho came free, but Nilton Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, João Adolfo Ortiz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Joga 10's Nilton Vides. Nilton Vides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nilmar Macedo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Dudu Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Recuperado SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dudu Botelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Joga 10's Guto de Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei Prata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rdth minute of the game João Adolfo Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joga 10's Nilton Vides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Adolfo Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Nilton Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dudu Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Vides having to interfere. The Joga 10 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Recuperado SS were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Gustavo Matos to make the kick off. Dudu Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Gustavo Matos took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinei Prata. Claudinei Prata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dudu Botelho during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guto de Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Claudinei Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joga 10. In the 77th minute, Luís Gustavo Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Joga 10's zone, Nilmar Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilton Vides came out of the goal and Nilmar Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nilton Vides stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Adolfo Ortiz's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Nilmar Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recuperado SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilmar Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilton Vides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
