The referee ignored Barril do Chaves F.C's protests and gave Raphael Matos a yellow card for diving instead. Raphael Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frederico Matos made a kick off. Frederico Matos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Claudinei Prata when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, Recuperado SS's goalkeeper Claudinei Prata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Amaral. Joel Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Claudinei Prata made a huge save. Claudinei Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Prata having to interfere. When Joel Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Barril do Chaves F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Amaral couldn't finish the play. Claudinei Prata was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Frederico Matos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. But to his dismay, Frederico Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Barril do Chaves F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
