Márcio Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerson Lopes in the 11th minute of play. Rodolfo de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Eriberto Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo de Souza in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Moema booed when Pardiuva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Jacinto Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Seccos short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Eriberto Nascimento to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
