If Leopoldo Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pardiuva getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jacinto Azevedo hit a great ball. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pardiuva's goalkeeper Eriberto Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Pardiuva's Gerson Lopes in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moema's goalie prevented a goal. Rodolfo de Souza struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Eriberto Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moema. Rodolfo de Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Quirino in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Márcio Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Pardiuva's Nuno Matorin got a free kick in the 35th minute. Raimundo Paes, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rafael Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Moema getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Geraldo Massa hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerson Lopes to strike the kick off in the second half. When Pardiuva's Gerson Lopes in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moema's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Pardiuva booed when Moema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes Moema got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Passos. In the 63rd minute of the match Reginaldo Alagoano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Márcio Carvalho skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Quirino during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leopoldo Quirino hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Rodolfo de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Leopoldo Quirino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcus Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Nascimento having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Rodolfo de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moema's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Marcus Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moema's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Secco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leopoldo Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Márcio Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pardiuva players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Moema from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
