Spectators: 6537 (Terracing: 5527, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Afonso Toledo took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Alan Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodrigo Veloso made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Afonso Toledo sent off a good shot on target. Rodrigo Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betão Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Veloso having to interfere. Betão Hoffmann had several of the Vila da Penha EC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Rodrigo Veloso as he didn't even see the shot coming. Vila da Penha EC's Rodrigo Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Senna in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Aílton Fantini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vila da Penha EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOS HERMANOS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vila da Penha EC's Aílton Fantini got a free kick in the 26th minute. Afonso Toledo took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Veloso. Rodrigo Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of LOS HERMANOS booed when Vila da Penha EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. LOS HERMANOS's Betão Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vila da Penha EC's Rodrigo Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão Hoffmann in the 41st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renato Pernambucano made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, LOS HERMANOS's Afonso Toledo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Betão Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serginho Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Veloso having to interfere. The LOS HERMANOS fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when LOS HERMANOS's Afonso Toledo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Betão Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Christian Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOS HERMANOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Veloso came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by LOS HERMANOS's Betão Hoffmann. But to his dismay, Betão Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Betão Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Serginho Romero put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rodrigo Veloso. Betão Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Serginho Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOS HERMANOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Serginho Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Veloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LOS HERMANOS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
