In the 10th minute, Rafael Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palheta SS's Joaquim Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Palheta SS's attack was well implemented in the 12th minute, but when Luiz Fabiano Koehler was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo de Souza made a kick off. Joaquim Netto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Márcio Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Moema's Marcus Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Márcio Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Joélson Figueiredo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Palheta SS's Nuno de Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Palheta SS from getting a goal against them. Moema's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
