Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cido Eger took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes SS Excellsior FC got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Linhares. Nuno de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Adrianinho Britto sent off a good shot on target. Wanderson Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Wilian das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palheta SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fabiano Koehler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cido Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Luiz Fabiano Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Palheta SS got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Machado. SS Excellsior FC's Telmo Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Netto in the 20th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Luiz Fabiano Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Telmo Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Hélder Barreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SS Excellsior FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palheta SS the free kick. In the 29th match minute, SS Excellsior FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Barreto to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilian das Neves hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Palheta SS's corner Róbson das Neves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Telmo Seco quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Palheta SS booed when SS Excellsior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Palheta SS's Joaquim Netto in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SS Excellsior FC's goalie prevented a goal. Telmo Seco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Netto's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. A collision led to SS Excellsior FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Wilian das Neves hit a great ball. Wanderson Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Seco having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute, Luiz Fabiano Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Telmo Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Netto in the 56th minute of play forced SS Excellsior FC's goalkeeper Telmo Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Telmo Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Netto in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, SS Excellsior FC's Telmo Seco got control of the ball when Luiz Fabiano Koehler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hélder Barreto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Telmo Seco was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Joaquim Netto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joaquim Netto really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 72nd minute, Joaquim Netto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Telmo Seco. The goal made the score 0-2. Telmo Seco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Netto's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Hélder Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Joaquim Netto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Telmo Seco. That made the score 0-3 in the 82 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Luiz Fabiano Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palheta SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fabiano Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the game, Palheta SS's Joaquim Netto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Telmo Seco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Telmo Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Telmo Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SS Excellsior FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palheta SS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
