Luís Fabiano Travassos hit a great ball. Victor Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Lucas Soares made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Iuri Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Álvaro Tróia. Ciclón da Itapira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermínio Veloso to make the kick off. The Palmeiras players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ciclón da Itapira from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
