Álvaro Tróia made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Sidnei do Vale sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Seco in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Umberto de Mendonça saved Jacata EC from getting behind. Ciclón da Itapira's Álvaro Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Neiva in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Sidnei do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacata EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidnei do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Tróia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sidnei do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Álvaro Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Neiva in the 25th minute of play forced Ciclón da Itapira's goalkeeper Álvaro Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Tróia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidnei do Vale's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. With a little luck, Ciclón da Itapira's Álvaro Tróia got control of the ball when Sidnei do Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredo Neiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Álvaro Tróia having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Ciclón da Itapira's zone, Sidnei do Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Tróia came out of the goal and Sidnei do Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidnei do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Álvaro Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sidnei do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermínio Veloso to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Jacata EC's Sidnei do Vale fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Alfredo Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidnei do Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Álvaro Tróia having to make a save. Sidnei do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Tróia having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Neiva in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Álvaro Tróia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the match, Ciclón da Itapira's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Neiva came free, but Álvaro Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermínio Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Umberto de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Tróia having to interfere. A collision led to Ciclón da Itapira getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Gustavo Cordeiro hit a great ball. In the 91st minute of the match Jerônimo Amaral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Álvaro Tróia skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Neiva in the 93rd minute of play forced Ciclón da Itapira's goalkeeper Álvaro Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
