Cícero Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Manoel Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Joseph Ulyanov made a huge save. After some careless play in the Compasso defense, Aílton Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joseph Ulyanov. The Compasso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joseph Ulyanov should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Compasso getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Osmar Lopes hit a great ball. Joseph Ulyanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Pirani in the 66th minute of the match. Joseph Ulyanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Nascimento in the 67th minute of play. Manoel Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Ulyanov having to interfere. In the 76th minute Matheus Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Ulyanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Compasso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 88 minutes into the game, Osmar Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Compasso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aliança EC the free kick. A collision led to Compasso getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aliança EC had played much better football throughout.
