Spectators: 6672 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Augusto Montenegro kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Filipe Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aliança EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raúl Carioca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Raúl Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marala SC's Raúl Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Nascimento in the 14th minute of play. Raúl Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Nascimento in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Marala SC's Matheus Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldo Meira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Aílton Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Filipe Pirani came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Aliança EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Pirani couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aílton Nascimento in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raúl Carioca saved Marala SC from getting behind. Patrick Mineiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raúl Carioca. Marala SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raúl Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Filipe Pirani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Aílton Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Aliança EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aílton Nascimento couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matheus Vale got free with Osvaldo Meira in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Damião in the 47th minute of play forced Marala SC's goalkeeper Raúl Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aílton Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. If Renan Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 52 played minutes Marala SC got a freekick which was hit by Alan Albuquerque. In the 53rd minute, Manoel Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Aílton Nascimento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raúl Carioca. That made the score 1-1 in the 55 minute of play. Moisés Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Raúl Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Marala SC's Sebastião Paraense got a free kick in the 59th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Aílton Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raúl Carioca. Marala SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aílton Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 70th minute Moisés Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aliança EC's Filipe Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raúl Carioca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moisés Trancoso in the 77th minute. A collision led to Marala SC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Luiz Fernando Fantini hit a great ball. Aílton Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raúl Carioca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aílton Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrick Mineiro hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Carlos Augusto Montenegro notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Aliança EC's Osvaldo Meira. Osvaldo Meira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aílton Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Carioca having to interfere. In the 87th minute Andrézinho Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Aílton Nascimento took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Raúl Carioca to make any attempt to save it. Andrézinho Brodel hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Aliança EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Marala SC.
